Prof. Anar Mukashev began her career in 1995 in Kazakhstan customs authorities as an inspector of the department for combating smuggling and violations of customs rules. Since 1999, Prof.Mukasheva has been conducting her academic activities, during which she has made a great contribution to the formation and development of environmental law, natural resource law and subsoil use law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Continuing her academic career at the Faculty of Law of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Prof. Mukasheva participated to the process of enactment of several laws, worked as a  head of the Center for Law and Economics of the Institute of Legal Research at the International Scientific Complex “Astana”.

Prof. Mukasheva is the owner of many state awards and medals.

Prof. Mukasheva provides legal advice to BE&TA Law clients on natural resource law, environmental law and subsoil use law of Kazakhstan.
