Levent Artuk was born in Trabzon in 1954. After completing his education at TED Ankara College and Ankara University Faculty of Law, he started to work as a judge in the Council of State (Supreme Administrative Court) in 1979. He worked as a manager the Ministry of Justice for many years. He was elected as a judge member of the Council of State on 10.03.2003 and retired on 15.03.2019.
